A few months ago, I stumbled upon an older version of CapCut that seems to work seamlessly without requiring payment for many premium features. This discovery came from a Reddit post that provided a simple workaround. Here’s the original Reddit post for reference: CapCut Cracked for Laptop and Mobile.

The link from @luigkilly’s Google Drive is here: Download CapCut 7.6 Version.

Caution: Use at your own risk. There are recent comments saying this file contained a virus.

This is how I stream

Background

A friend once told me… ladidada da, you’re here for cheap streaming, right ? This guide will take the simplest approach, using two different services.

TorBox: A cloud debrid service that downloads and caches torrents on their servers. When you want to watch something, it streams directly from their CDN to your device. Think of it like a cloud DVR that already has most popular content ready to go instantly.

My self-hosting Google Photos

Background

Hitting the 20GB limit that Google provides for all your email and photos was inevitable. When that time came, I started digging around and found two potential solutions:

Immich

Photoprism

I tried both, and honestly, they work really well. However, I decided to go with Immich since so many users were raving about how awesome it is.

My Current Setup

Raspberry Pi 4 (Rpi4) with a 512GB SanDisk

NAS that contains abouit 4TB of storage.

Docker running the Immich server.

I won’t go into detail about how to set everything up because that’s already covered in the Immich installation guide. Instead, I’ll share my thoughts on using it so far. Right now, I will admit. It’s not as smooth sailing as I’d like. But I see a lot of potential, so I’m sticking with it and working on overcoming the obstacles.
